Beyond work, passions, hobbies, interests?
I’m very active and love working out. You can find me biking, running or hiking. When I’m not outside, I like sewing and baking as well.
Do you have a morning or evening routine?
I get up about 5am, go for a walk or run, sometimes workout, shower and change, eat breakfast and then sit down to work.
If you won the lottery, what would you do with the money?
I would help my family pay off their bills and then take a vacation with my family! And maybe buy a weekend home.
What’s your favorite way to spend a day off?
Biking or hiking with friends or my kids. I love spending time doing anything with my boys.
If you could only eat one dish for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Either Tacos or Salmon. I love both and could eat them every day.
What was your first job?
My first job was working at Taco Bell. I still can’t eat there!
What was your favorite subject in high school or college?
Math and Networking
What originally got you interested in your current field of work?
I knew I liked working with numbers and solving problems, but I wasn’t really looking at IT until my mom suggested it.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
I love helping others learn something new and working with others to troubleshoot. It makes me feel great!
What is the key to achieving success in your role?
The key is asking for help and documenting anything new, along with reading articles about the business.

Utilizing Okta best practices!

What advice would you give to your younger self, from a professional perspective?
Take the leap sooner! It’s a blast!
