BeyondID is now an Okta Apex Partner

This spring, Okta introduced Elevate: the new and improved partner program governing Okta’s ecosystem. Where the original Solution Provider Program measured revenue alone, Elevate seeks to reward partners who create value for customers through “the motions that matter”. Okta Elevate defines four tiers of partnership: Activate, Amplify, Ascend, and Apex. Their vision: to foster well-rounded relationships with partners grounded in customer focus.

So where does that leave us? BeyondID is now a proud Okta Apex Partner!

Belonging to the highest tier of Okta Elevate is a testament not only to the success of our long-standing partnership with Okta, but to the success of our Raving Fan philosophy. As a Global Diamond Partner, BeyondID was recognized as Okta’s most skilled partner. Now, our Apex partnership shines new light on the stellar customer service that has made BeyondID Okta’s most trusted partner.

What’s next? BeyondID is continuing to deliver excellent identity solutions with Apex-level service in industries across the board. Take, for example, some of the incredible work we’re doing with trailblazing providers like Memorial Hermann in the healthcare sector.

Memorial Hermann Chooses BeyondID

Memorial Hermann is a values-driven nonprofit health system serving Houston and Southeast Texas with 14 hospitals and three joint venture urgent care centers. The community-owned care provider has received national recognition for its clinical excellence with numerous stand-out awards like US News & World Report’s No.3 Best Hospital in the Nation and AHA’s Foster G. McGaw Prize for Excellence in Community Service. But with aspirations of identity-based care, Memorial Hermann needed to modernize their patient experience. Memorial Hermann chose Okta Platform to transform their digital patient journey and brought BeyondID on board to ensure a seamless transition and maximize their investment in Okta.

Memorial Hermann was very aware of the experiential pain points their patients were facing as a result of  overly-complicated and disjointed digital experience. Before transformation, patients were responsible for managing multiple credentials to access tools and information at various points of entry. This fragmented customer view undermined Memorial Hermann’s ability to expand engagement and create patients for life. To adress these short comings, Memorial Hermann would have to unify the patient experience under one single patient identity and make digital resources not just available, but accessible and seamless.

As Memorial Hermann’s managed identity service provider (MISP), BeyondID created an Okta-powered Digital front door (DFD) to enable central access to a full range of healthcare tools from one login anytime, anywhere, and on any device. BeyondID used our Application Integration Gateway (AIG) and the BeyondID Epic Connector to tie Memorial Hermann’s existing systems and data storage seamlessly into their new Okta Platform.

On the other end of digital transformation with BeyondID, Memorial Hermann’s digital patient experience feels as modern as their award-winning medical care. That’s what we call a job well done!

On the Ground at Gartner IAM Summit 2023 

In April, the BeyondID team had the pleasure of attending Gartner’s Identity & Access Management Summit 2023. This is one of several in-person opportunities BeyondID seizes each year to stay closely tuned-in to the market. The annual event is an excellent place for identity leaders like us to share though leadership, address industry-wide challenges, and build strong relationships within the identity space.  

This year’s summit was a success for BeyondID. Our team had the chance to hear from respected Gartner analysts, including Henrique Texiera and Rebecca Archambault, in sessions covering everything from the state of the industry, to growing challenges, to technologies on the rise. Our own VP of Solutions, Neeraj Methi, shared the stage with Sabre Director of IAM Kristin Coop in a captivating thought leadership session titled “Sabre’s Journey to Digital Identity Modernization”. Their joint presentation was a hit with attendees, attracting over 100 interested audience members and generating substantial interest in the Fortune 500 company’s transformation with BeyondID.  

The learning and sharing we partake in at events like Gartner IAM Summit is critical to our ability to stay forward-thinking and customer-focused within our market. BeyondID is always learning; opportunities such as these help inform our understanding of the challenges facing identity. Now it’s time to put that information into action!
