BeyondID For Good Partners With Nightingales Medical Trust to Give Back to Bengaluru

Nightingales Medical Trust is a professionally managed, not-for-profit organization based in Bangalore, India. Since 1998, the trust has worked to set new trends in age care by providing affordable, accessible, community-based services and support systems to the elderly. All those aligned with The Nightingales share a vision for healthy, happy, empowered, and socially integrated elders. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life of elders through innovative & appropriate community-based support systems, comprehensive geriatric care with special focus on dementia and active ageing, combating elder abuse, skill development, economic empowerment, public education, advocacy and capacity-building programs.

Shared Values

BeyondID India chose to give their support to Nightingales Sandhya Kirana because we were inspired by the organization’s unwavering commitment to enhancing the lives of elderly people. The Nightingales’ core values resonated deeply with our team globally; their holistic approach to elder care, which encompasses medical, emotional, and environmental needs, truly impressed us. The organization’s many years of experience and reputation for delivering exceptional care affirmed our decision to make a donation.

Our hope for partnering with Nightingales Sandhya Kirana is not only to contribute to the well-being of elders in Bengaluru, but also to promote a future for eldercare characterized by all the respect and compassion people deserve in their golden years.

BeyondID For Good

BeyondID donated Rs. 40,000 to Nightingales Sandhya Kirana. In addition to that sum, which translates to 479 USD, our team in India organized a campaign to collect essential items. Some items were toiletries, food, sweets, tea, first aid supplies, water bottles, cloth napkins, socks, and even newspapers, among other necessities. These items support the Nightingales in providing a comfortable and dignified life for elders in Bengaluru. Newspapers are a highly requested item within the organization’s network of seniors because they serve a dual purpose in the care center. Elders can use donated newspapers to craft hand-made paper bags, an activity which offers them an opportunity to generate a small income.

Our partnership with the Nightingales is a proud manifestation of our mission to make a positive impact on the communities surrounding the offices where BeyondID Rocketeers live and work. We are proud to align ourselves with such a stand-up organization and look forward to exploring further opportunities to practice social responsibility within our communities around the world.
